Christmas Celebration at a Bhubaneswar Church

Christmas is a holy time for Christians all around the world because it commemorates the incarnation of Jesus, who represents God's love and salvation. Christmas has transcended religious devotion to become a cultural event marked by joy, acts of giving, and generosity.

While it was celebrated with tremendous pomp and show across the country, midnight songs and holy masses in decked-out churches welcomed Jesus into the world on Christmas night.

Thousands of people burst in a joyful mood and flocked to various churches and decked-out cathedrals to commemorate the birth of their Lord.
Churches in Bhubaneswar saw an overwhelming and enthusiastic audience who gilded the Christmas celebrations by singing carols, distributing sweets and cakes, and celebrating in the Lord's name.

"Seeing the Christmas light and Jesus enter the world is not normal." We just want to be among the folks and have a good time this weekend. Merry Christmas to everyone, and may Jesus promote love and peace across the world," requested a churchgoer in Bhubaneswar.

District governments have made elaborate preparations for Christmas celebrations across the state. Security has also been increased in many regions of the state, notably Kandhamal.

Police, on the other hand, held a flag march in the Baliguda and Barakhama regions. Armed soldiers led the flag procession. The cops have already begun to monitor the area. The neighbourhood has also seen an increase in blocking and checking.
